Today, I live in Brattleboro, Vermont. This is very nice place. It is a small town with beautiful view especially in autumn. The leaf of the trees is changing from green to red color. Red means the tree hibernate, but for most of people thaught the scary. Why? because it means snow will come. For me, I like autumn, but I don't like the cold. Now, every day is cold. Maple Festival, 2008

 Setiap bulan, kampus menyiapkan acara kunjungan atau semacam tour ke event-event yang ada di seputaran Vermont. International student hanya perlu sign up dan mengikuti jadwalnya. Salah satu event yang saya ikuti adalah Maple Festival sekitar Maret 2008. Pada event ini, kita dapat melihat langsung bagaimana sirup Maple dibuat dari getah pembuluh kayu pohon mapel.         Pengambilan getah pembuluh kayu Pohon Maple, VT Setelah getah dikumpulkan, lalu dimasak dan kemudian jadilah sirop  maple yang dikemas kedalam berbagai kemasan seperti gambar di bawah ini  Proses pembuatan Sirop Maple ini mengingatkan saya kepada proses pembuatan gula merah, setlah air nira di kumpulkan, lalu air nira dimasak hingga airnya kering dan menjadi gula. Setelah mengunjungi Maple Fest, kami juga diajak berkeliling kota dan berbelanja souvenir Kota Vermont.

Time has change

It's been a long time I have no post for this blog. I've changed. Now, I've a boy, he will be 2 years this June. Also I am working with the government in district level and in the same time I am developing a community forum to be support group among members. I hope in the next time I can write some articles in Bahasa about my activities in the community that maybe can be useful for others.
